I was born in the coastal city of Patras, at the South West part of Greece. I grew up and finished school in Patras. As a kid I was Cub Scout and a Navy Boy Scout. I spent my school years in Patras, and I attended the 58th and 26th Primary Schools, the 1st Gymnasium (Junior High) and the Eniaio Polykladiko Lyceum (Comprehensive High school).
After school I joined the Army (Black Berets) for my National Service. I served at the Tank & Cavalry Corp's training camp at Avlona, then was transferred to the 34th Battalion, of the 34th Mechanised Mobile Brigade at Thessaloniki. The last part of my service was at the island of Lesbos, at the 398th National Guard Brigade. Upon the end of my service I enrolled at the American College of Greece (Deree College) where I studied for my AAS in Computers and BSc in Business. During my studies I worked at the College as a lab assistant and at Compulink, one of the oldest ISPs in Greece. I graduated in 1995 with my AAS and BSc and I was one of the two recipients of the President's Award in my class.
The next 5 years I worked in Patras in a family business while I started my own Web Hosting & Internet Marketing Consultancy. In 2000 I sold my business for a profit and moved to Athens where I worked for the advertising department of Compupress, the mother company of Compulink, and in 2001 I moved to the UK looking for new challenges. I worked for companies like Abbey National, Norwich Union, William Hill, Steel City Data and Seven Digit Interactive. I also worked for CQM Ltd (Sheffield) on a contract marketing research for an underwater bike. In 2004 I moved to Scotland to work at IBM (UK) Ltd as an account manager for Greece and Cyprus, at the Greenock EMEA department. After IBM I took a temporary contact with HM Government (DWP) before I resumed my studies.
In 2007 I received a studentship from the University of Strathclyde to study for an MSc Forensic Informatics and after my graduation I am working as a Digital Forensics Consultant, under the trade name Strathclyde Forensics.
